Blk 267A Punggol Field

My first step into the Early Childhood sector was as a teacher and I have not looked back since. I hold a Degree in Early Childhood Education and I am currently the Principal with My First Skool at Blk 267A Punggol Field. Our Centre can serve up to 188 children aged 2 months to 6 years old. As the leader of my centre, I am motivated by the desire to help our young ones develop positive learning dispositions and keep them engaged with holistic learning approaches. We encourage children to discover for themselves and grow, while we guide them through the process.

My team and I strongly believe that early learning is allowing children to pursue at their own pace through their unique developmental needs – children are excellent observers and their natural curiosity is piqued through constantly exploring the world around them. This enables every situation at home or at school to be a learning opportunity.

It is imperative to remember that parents take a leap of faith when they place their children in our care. Building positive parent partnerships help parents feel valued and gain confidence in encouraging and supporting children at every stage of their development and learning. Hence, a child’s success at school is very much dependent on the centre’s strong relationship and rapport with parents which is one of our Centre’s strengths and we continue to embrace parents as partners.

The children of today will live in a world with different challenges than those of yesterday. They are our country most important asset and as Early Childhood educators, our focus is to make a positive imprint on every child’s life.
