I have dedicated my professional journey to nurturing young minds and supporting their growth during their most formative years. With over a decade of experience in the Early Childhood industry and a degree in Early Childhood Education, I have progressed from a teacher to various leadership roles, made possible through the professional learning and leadership courses extended to me. Each stage of this journey has played a significant role in shaping the educator and leader I am today. I believe that every child is a curious, capable and unique individual, full of potential. They thrive in environments where they feel safe, respected  and inspired to explore. It is our role as educators to guide and support them as they develop the confidence and skills to navigate the world. At My First Skool at Blk 101 Rivervale Walk, we are committed to providing a holistic and enriching learning environment that celebrates diversity and community connections. Our strong intergenerational partnership with Precious Active Ageing Centre creates meaningful opportunities for children to engage with the elderly through shared experiences and storytelling, fostering empathy and respect across generations. Additionally, our collaboration with the National Gallery Singapore enables children to explore art in interactive and inspiring ways, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation of culture and expression. I strongly believe in the power of collaboration. By working closely with families and community partners, we can create rich, inclusive, and meaningful learning experiences. Together, we can empower children to become confident, compassionate and resilient individuals ready to contribute positively to their communities.
