I joined My First Skool in 2013 bringing with me more than 15 years of experience as a teacher, mentor and a leader from various preschool centres in Singapore. I am very inspired by this poem, “A child is like a butterfly in the wind. Some can fly higher than others; But each one flies the best it can. Why compare one against the other? Each one is different. Each one is special. Each one is beautiful.” Every line resonates with me and made me aware of children’s uniqueness.

Early Childhood industry is my calling and I have the chance to make an impact in children’s growing years. My committed team of teachers make learning fun and engaging. This is achieved through partnership with parents and the community so that children can learn within the classroom and beyond and develop according to their needs, interest and abilities.

Having been awarded SPARK accreditation since 2015, our Centre continues to raise the bar of quality. We are also a recipient of Healthy Eating Award by the Health Promotion Board since 2013. We continue to keep abreast of the latest developments in early childhood and provide programs that are beneficial to children like our participation in the Start Small Dream Big project which involves conservation of water at the centre and at home and the Innovation Grant to embark on projects that cultivates children’s interest in nature. We have a dedicated Parent Support Group to help enhance our centre’s activities for the best of the children.
