Learning can take root anywhere, even in our very own garden! 🌱✨
Our children from My First Skool at Blk 463 Clementi Ave 1 recently rolled up their sleeves alongside Mr David Hoe, Adviser to Jurong East–Bukit Batok GRC GROs (Clementi), to plant pomegranate, lemon and calamansi trees in their centre garden.
As children plant, water and observe how their garden changes over time, they learn that caring for their surroundings takes patience, responsibility and teamwork. More importantly, they discover that their actions, however small, can contribute to something bigger than themselves. 🌳✨
We hope these new trees will continue to grow alongside our children and community, serving as a little reminder of what can blossom when we care for the world around us.

Three generations. One Pledge. One home. 🇸🇬
This National Day, our little ones didn`t celebrate alone. Their parents and grandparents came together with them reciting the Pledge side by side, sweating through a National Day workout, and exchanging stories over classroom activities.
At My First Skool, we believe some of the most meaningful learning happens when generations come together. These intergenerational moments help our children build empathy, compassion, and stronger relational skills — lessons that go far beyond what any classroom lesson alone can teach. 😉 Happy 61st Birthday, Singapore!
