I believe that every child deserves a respectful, nurturing, and joyful start to learning—one that recognises their individuality and builds confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of belonging. As an early childhood leader, I am deeply committed to creating environments where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to grow holistically.

I hold a Master of Education (Early Childhood) and a Diploma in Early Childhood (Teaching & Leadership), and I have been an early childhood practitioner since 2008. Throughout my professional journey, I have worked closely with teachers, families, and community partners to build strong, collaborative relationships that support high-quality care and education. These partnerships have enabled me to lead effectively and establish a strong foundation for children’s learning, development, and well-being.

I believe that every child is unique and capable, deserving support across all aspects of development: physical, social, emotional, and cognitive. As educators, we play a vital role in facilitating and scaffolding learning, working in partnership with parents, and extending children’s experiences through meaningful community collaborations.

Our centre reflects this philosophy by providing inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning experiences and by offering all three Mother Tongue Languages: Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil. This supports children’s cultural identity while strengthening their language foundations from an early age, ensuring they feel confident and connected in their learning journey.

Strong partnerships with families are at the heart of my leadership approach. I value open communication, mutual trust, and shared responsibility in supporting each child’s growth. As a leader, I work alongside my team to foster a culture of reflection, innovation, and continuous improvement, encouraging educators to thoughtfully evaluate their practices and strive for excellence together. Seeing children thrive and families feel supported continues to inspire me and affirms my passion for early childhood education every day.
