Cheryl Ho

My First Skool at Blk 197D Boon Lay

I hold a bachelor’s in early childhood education and have 18 years of experience in the early childhood field. I believe that children can learn, and all children want to learn. All children have greatness hidden inside them. The role of educators is significant as we need to instill the love for education in children, embedding in our future generations learning skills such as – problem-solving, evaluating, working in teams, communicating, creating, and innovating.

As a Centre Leader, I believe in providing a happy and nurturing atmosphere in which children can develop a positive self-image and love of learning. It is also vital to support my group of educators to ensure that the curriculum extends to meet the holistic development for children. Teachers are also guided to be able to offer unlimited possibilities to enable children to learn and grow through play, to try new activities, meet new challenges and to feel secure in a school environment.

As the saying goes “It takes a village to raise a child” we look forward toward the partnership between children’s families and the school in raising children to reach their highest potential.

This is probably the best centre around our estate as there were always many platforms for parents to engage with their children and also with the teachers throughout the year in comparison with other centres I hear 😀. The teachers pay close attention to the kids and always emphasise on fair treatment to all. I will definitely recommend this centre to others. Kudos to the principal Ms Cheryl also for leading the team in constantly improving their routine, caring for the kids and even stepping forward to check in for kids or handle challenging ones who refuses school 🥰

Friendly and approachable principal and teachers.I am always thankful for their dedication teachers and principal. This has been the best childcare in the estate. The sheltered environment also makes it so convenient to pick up the kids, even on rainy days. We have been with them for nine wonderful years, and with my youngest graduating this year, it marks our final year with the centre. The principal and teachers are genuinely caring and passionate about nurturing and teaching the children. A heartfelt thank you to all the principals and teachers who have supported and guided my kids throughout their preschool journey. ☺️
