Both my kiddos attended My First Skool. The teachers there known every kids name even they never teach them before. Teachers are very loving, both my kids love to go school.

The 1st Skool children visit our shelter home for the aged once a month; during their time of visit they performed and interacted with the elderly through craft and games.
These are my observations
1. The children are very confident in interacting with the elderly.
2. The teachers are very creative in generating age appropriate activity.
3. I found the teachers manage the children very well, firmed but very loving, patience and gently.
We are grateful to Ms Joanna Wong, the principal for sending the children to our centre as well as organising the food donation drive to cater to our needs.

Excellent experience for my toddler. The teachers are very kind and caring. My child is familiar with all the staff here. The teachers provide regular feedback to help me understand my child growth progress. They some times have programmes to involve parents which I find very useful.

The place is not air-conditioned, but is well ventilated with many fans. The plus side is that my child doesn't catch the flu easily. My child is also well adapted for warm weather as a result.

Enrolled my child here from playgroup onwards. Pity they don't offer infants because they are situated on a high floor.

We’ve had such a positive experience at the MFS preschool at Blk 66 Kallang Bahru. The teachers from both Playgroup and N1 are absolutely lovely—caring, patient, and always engaging with the kids. Our child really enjoys going to school every day.

The school is mostly non-air-conditioned, but the ceiling fans keep the classrooms cool and well-ventilated. We’ve noticed that this has helped reduce the usual run of colds and sniffles. Some rooms are air-conditioned and used for specific activities when needed, which gives a nice balance.

The team is quick and transparent with updates, especially when it comes to HFMD cases. Any signs of an outbreak are managed swiftly with clear communication to parents, which we really appreciate.

One of the highlights for us is the Friday evening pick-up, where parents are welcome to step into the school. It’s a lovely opportunity to connect with teachers and catch a glimpse of how our child behaves before spotting us—always a sweet moment!

The pick-up system is also very well thought out. Scanning a QR code via their app notifies the classroom, and the child’s name pops up on the screen so the teacher knows who to prepare for dismissal—smooth and efficient!

Communication is mainly done through a WhatsApp group chat that includes both parents with the teachers. When our child moved from PG to N1, the group stayed the same, with the new teachers added in. It’s a simple and seamless way to stay informed.

Meals are freshly prepared on-site by the school’s own cooks and attendants, not catered. Our child has been eating well and has never once complained about the food.

All in all, this preschool is a hidden gem tucked within a quiet, mature estate. The smaller enrolment means each child gets more attention, and we’re truly glad to have found this little community.

My son very first learning centre and really love the way of teaching, warming and caring environment, very supportive, kind and well experienced teachers. Thank you so much for my lovely one to get the first happy journey.

My kids have truly enjoyed their time at the school and developed a wonderful bond with the teachers. The caring and supportive environment has made a positive impact on them. It's a great school that fosters both learning and connection.

My son attends the playgroup from the beginning of this year and has been enjoying going to school since then. The first few days we picked my kid up from school, I was amazed at how the moment a parent steps out of the lift, the teacher at the door immediately announces on the PA system it's which kid's turn to go home (before the parent scans on the app). like omg how do they know the faces of ALL the parents (on top of all the kids)? one of the parents next to me then
said to me, 'u guys must be new' 🤣

We are deeply fortunate to have found this school when our kid turned 18mths. Being first time parents and unsure about everything, the teachers are very helpful & supportive when it comes to any questions we have (from behaviour to toilet training to academics). And, it is not just one teacher that's patient with us, it's every teacher there (including the VP and Principal). They are always happy to share.

During the period when there were childcare centre abuse cases being widespread news, I asked how the centre prevents these issues (mostly out of curiosity). It turns out, the centre filters individual teacher's temperaments to determine which age group they are suitable to handle. I think this is a brilliant strategy.

And the results really show!! Cos as my kid passed through each stage (PG to N1 to N2), I occasionally ask him who is his favorite teacher. He has actually named every single teacher (for example, the class has 3 teachers, one period teacher A will be his favourite, another period teacher B, and another period will be teacher C). Needless to say, my kid loves his school ❤️❤️

As a parent, I want my kid to enjoy school to set the stage for pri & sec sch later on in life. As a bonus, my kid is now able to change his diapers/change clothes/feed himself/read the alphabets and numbers/speak some chinese all on his own (none of which were taught at home btw haha).

Here's a shoutout to THE BEST preschool a parent can ask for. If all the schools in Singapore were this awesome, the world would indeed be a better place!

Our past years of experience with MFS at 66 Kallang Bahru has been nothing short of joy and assurance from the committed (past and present) principals & heart-working teachers.

It’s bittersweet that we are left with just half a year here as our child will soon graduate from K2. The relationships, open communication & trust built since PG has been so so precious.

Special events (like cultural celebrations or wrap-up performances) add so much excitement, and I appreciate how the school values creativity and emotional growth alongside academics. Thank you for creating such a nurturing and stimulating space for young learners!

Pick my niece up. Teachers are friendly the premises are really neat and clean. Parents have a cool place to wait for their own kids to come out of the centre.

My daughter enjoys going to school and have learnt a lot through interactive songs and activities. They are patient and great teachers whom constantly update me on my daughter’s progress. Kudos to awesome teachers and Principal!
