Teachers are caring and work hard to make learning interesting and fun for the children

My two kids are enrolled with JW8 since infantcare till today. Honestly, I loved every aspect of My First Skool environment, curriculum and their teachers! Both my sons loved their classes and look forward to school daily which shows me the positive impact the teachers have on them. Teachers are very well trained and passionate on nurturing young minds. They are also willing to listen to parents feedback and regularly update parents on child progress in school.

The principals (past and present) are very friendly, reliable and approachable. Location wise is also convenient for parents to pick up and drop off their children from school and have quick dinner at coffeeshop nearby or engage in a bonding session at the nearest playground. Would definitely recommend any parents to enroll their child at JW8 centre.

The educators have been extremely wonderful and patient with my boy despite his quirkiness and unpredictable moods. Thank you for your uncompromising and inspiring work.

Positive and nice feedback from the teachers

The principal Ms Lena is approachable and adds value by addressing parents' concerns thoughtfully. The teachers are attentive, patient and provide useful feedback that has helped us support our children at home.

The cooking and cleaning aunties are friendly and take good care of the children as well.

Even though we have moved to a different area, we still choose to send our children to this centre because of the positive environment as well as the strong bond our children has formed here with the staff. In fact, when we asked if they wanted to transfer to a centre nearer to our new home, they said no. They really love it here at MFS JW8!

We are very fortunate to be able to send our kids here :) JW8 has some of the most caring and hardworking teachers I've ever met. Plus they're almost always aligned with our parenting style and attitudes. Thank you JW8!

Both my daughters (one in N2 and one just started playgroup) have been attending MyFirstSkool at JW8 since their infant care days, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The Principal and teachers are genuinely caring and always take the time to update us on our children’s progress and well-being.

We can really see how much our girls have learned and grown over the years — most importantly, they enjoy going to school every day! It’s a joy to see them excited to share what they’ve learned.

The school has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and even the auntie cook and cleaning aunties are so kind and approachable — it really feels like a little community. Our family has been with My First Skool at JW8 for several years now. Both of our daughters started here in infant care, with the older one now being 4 years old. The environment has been consistently warm, supportive, and engaging throughout their time here.

We really appreciate how dedicated and caring the Principal and teachers are. They take time to understand each child and keep us well informed about their learning and progress. It’s been very encouraging to see our kids pick up new skills and grow in confidence.

What stands out most to us is how happy our children are to go to school every day. The school has a very welcoming atmosphere — even the auntie cook and cleaning aunties are friendly and approachable, helping to create a safe and comfortable environment for the children.

Fun and cosy school with parent-child interactive activities. My child feel happy when he is going school. He will share the things he did in school and his favourite teacher and classmates. Principle is friendly as well, easy to approach whenever you have queries. Overall, nothing to worry when we place our child in school. 👍

Always very appreciative of the teachers at this centre for putting the interest of our kids first. My son spent the first 6 years of his life here which helped him adapt to primary school life with ease. And this success made us want to also have our second born go through her pre-school education here.

Excellent Principal Nurturing Excellent Teachers. JW8 never fail to assure parents with their positiveness in guiding the children. All my children grew from JW8 and I never had a mintue to worry about my kids adapting, learning and growing up there. The childrend tells it all, when you end work early to fetch them at 5pm and they get upset and say mummy I don't want you to come so early, come at 7pm. :) Awesome team!

My kids are 6, 4 and coming to 2, and all three of them have been in BLK 459 My First Skool since they were 3 to 4 months old, going through infantcare, and then into full day childcare (my oldest is now in K2). The teachers at this MFS branch have been amazing, well trained, but also affable and genuinely caring towards the kids, and communicate well with us parents. The management style of the principal has been very good, dealing well with parents and kids and also providing a good environment for the teachers to work in, so I have utmost faith that the teachers will in turn treat the children well. The school itself is small, there is one class per level, and everyone knows everyone, which is genuinely nice for a change. Food is cooked onsite and is healthy and well balanced for the kids to eat (it's healthier than the food I can manage to feed my own children at home!), activities are well thought out for the children's levels. As a parent I have felt well supported by the principal and the teachers and support staff, even during CB and HA and covid in general, the measures put in are well thought out and useful. I would definitely recommend this school!

I send all my 3 children to My first skool. Without second thoughts. Haha. As a parent, the 1st school for the children are very important, I am glad that My First Skool had provided all my 3 children a very positive experience. Thank you so much to the School Principal and teachers..

The JW8 Team is great, friendly and patient. A group of passionate educators who have instilled strong values in the children. My children love going to school everyday and enjoy their meals which are cooked in-house at the centre. Both principal and teacher are very warm and friendly. They are approachable and willing to assist me in anything. Even my daughter love and enjoy going to school. I love how often they have take home activity, always looking forward. Principal always reply to email even after operating hrs and weekend. Can’t wait to enrol my 2nd born!

Very happy and satisfied with MFS! My son has attended school for 4 months already and can really feel that he’s happy going to school. He surprised us very often with new things he learn in school. The best centre! My 3 elder boys graduated from this centre from toddler to K2. And now my 2 younger boys also in this centre toddler and infant care.
