With over 24 years of experience in early childhood education, my journey began as an English teacher, and today, I am proud to lead My First Skool at Blk 206A Woodleigh Link as its Principal.
Holding a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Early Childhood Education and having recently fulfilled the requirements for a Master of Education (with formal conferment in July 2026), I am deeply passionate about nurturing young learners through compassionate, responsive, and intentional care. At our centre, we believe that every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued, a belief that shapes our culture and daily practices.
We prioritise emotional well-being as the foundation for lifelong learning. Guided by the 3Rs approach (Respectful, Responsive, and Reciprocal interactions), our educators build strong, trusting relationships so that children feel safe to explore, express themselves, and thrive.
We believe education is a partnership. Our strong collaboration with families includes an active Parent Support Group, comprising dedicated parent volunteers who co-create meaningful experiences, support events, and strengthen the school-home connection.
Rooted in the heart of Bidadari, we reflect the spirit of “A Community in a Garden” through nature-based learning, family engagement, and meaningful partnerships. One of our key collaborations is with the NTUC Health Active Ageing Centre, where children and seniors come together for intergenerational initiatives that foster empathy, connection, and mutual joy.
“Every child is a story yet to be written, and when educators and parents come together, we become co-authors of a beautiful beginning.”
Together, we help every child grow with joy, trust, and curiosity.
