My philosophy is grounded in developmental readiness, influenced by Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky, emphasising active learning and thoughtful scaffolding. I value strong partnerships with families in creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

I transitioned into early childhood education in 2012 after 18 years in the Public Service, guided by a desire to make a meaningful impact in children’s formative years. I hold a Bachelor of Business in Business Administration and have since attained Diplomas in Early Childhood Education in both Teaching and Leadership with My First Skool. I am grateful for the professional growth opportunities provided to me, including the ECEL Programme with SUSS in 2021 and the ECDA 3-Year Leadership Programme in 2022.

With over a decade of dedication to the sector, I serve as the Centre Leader at My First Skool, 972D Tampines GreenQuartz. In this role, I am committed to fostering a collaborative and reflective team culture that strengthens teaching practises and supports quality learning outcomes for all children.
