I joined My First Skool in 2019 with more than 11 years of experience in the early childhood sector.  Armed with a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education with Management, Diploma in ECE – Leadership, an Advanced Diploma in Special Needs and Inclusive Education and a burning passion, it motivates me to give my best when working with parents and stakeholders in nurturing and bringing  out the best potential in our children. “They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” With this, I strive to lead a team of passionate educators in this centre to nurture children and their families from all walks of life, leaving a trace of memory in their early years. MFS @ Toa Payoh 5 participates actively in various community projects such as Start Small Dream Big, an initiative by ECDA to help children learn moral values and inculcate positive behaviours, were awarded Innovation Guidance Grants projects to ensure that children learn from various platforms and experiences. The centre achieved SPARK Certification in 2016, a national initiative to ensure preschools meet quality standards in educating and the development of young children. We also collaborated with Primary School, National Library Board and NPARKS and more to bring the community together and make learning meaningful and fun for our children. I am most convinced that our children thrive best when they are given opportunities to learn from various platforms and different community partners and stakeholders, including parents.
