I am an early childhood educator with 9 years of experience in this industry. I hold a diploma in preschool teaching and leadership. Being able to teach children and to mentor new staff has always been my passion. I always find a sense of achievement and accomplishment when I am given the opportunity to learn new things and at the same time, to teach others.

My role as a leader is to lead and guide the staff under my care, to mentor and support them in curriculum delivery and teaching practices that is aligned with our centre’s mission, vision and core values.

I am currently leading a SPARK certified centre with a capacity of 72 children for childcare service and 10 infants for infant care service.

I place importance in providing an authentic learning experience for children, in allowing them to explore and discover new experiences at their own pace. I believe that as an educator, we should scaffold children’s learning based on the choices they make, by creating opportunities and experiences that allows for hands-on experiences and exploration to inspire awe and wonder in them.

At My First Skool, we believe in a culture of learning and sharing. I enjoy nurturing young minds and encourage those around me to inculcate life-long learning attitudes for professional development and growth. I believe in possessing a strong sense of service due to the passion I have for what I do and it allows me to contribute and reach out and make a difference to the community of parents, caregivers and children.
