Nur Aini Binte Rauwi

My First Skool at Blk 487 Pasir Ris

The belief that it takes a village to raise a child guides my work and leadership every day. With more than two decades of experience in early childhood education, I hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education from the University of Wales and a Master’s degree from Monash University. My professional journey spans both international and local preschool settings, providing me with a diverse perspective on early learning.

Together with my dedicated team, our centre has achieved prestigious certifications including SPARK accreditation and the Healthy Meals in Pre-schools Programme (HMPP) accorded by the Health Promotion Board. Our programme extends beyond the classroom by establishing meaningful community partnerships that foster intergenerational bonds to support children’s holistic development.

I believe that teamwork and strong relationships are the foundations that help every child thrive. Connecting with families and celebrating each child’s growth brings me great joy and remains the core purpose of my role as a leader.

I’m Hanna, mummy of Jovie. I would like to express my deepest thanks to all the teachers at the Blk 487 Pasir Ris centre — especially Tan Laoshi, Ms Asy, Yang Laoshi, Ms Anie, and the other teachers whose names I may have forgotten — for the care, dedication, and love they showed throughout the time my daughter attended, from Playgroup to N2.
Every time I visited or fetched her, I could clearly see how much effort the teachers put into engaging the children. Rather than letting them play on their own, the teachers were always reading books with them, teaching patiently, and creating a warm, meaningful learning environment. This is something I rarely saw at other centres.
I also want to thank the principal and the admin staff who always accompanied and supported Jovie. I truly appreciated the weekend activities they organized, giving parents the chance to join in and have fun with their kids — those were such special moments.
Jovie has changed schools three times, so I’ve had the opportunity to compare, and this centre truly stands out. That’s why I wanted to leave this note of appreciation — to say thank you for everything you’ve done for my girl.
