I believe that the stage when children begin to discover themselves, build confidence, and develop a love for learning is a truly special time in their early years. As an educator and leader, I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

I began my career in the early childhood sector in 2016 as a trainee teacher. Since then, I have had the privilege of many opportunities and experiences that supported my growth while working alongside children, educators, and families. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education and an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership, both of which have strengthened my capabilities and supported my journey as a leader.

I value creating a positive centre culture where educators feel supported and comfortable sharing ideas. When educators grow together as a team, it creates meaningful learning experiences and a strong foundation for children to thrive. Another important aspect of our work is collaborating with families. I believe that close collaboration between educators and families strengthens the support system for each child’s development.

By fostering open communication and trust, we gain deeper insights into each child’s needs and can support them more effectively. Seeing children arrive at school with curiosity, confidence, and a sense of belonging continually reinforces the significance of the work that we do.
