After graduating from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, I began my journey as a preschool teacher in a kindergarten. In 2011, I was selected for the Grow with Us Programme by NTUC First Campus, where I was groomed for leadership. In 2012, I set up a new centre under My First Skool while completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College (SEED Institute).

I believe every child is unique and capable, and I am committed to differentiated learning, intentional curriculum planning, and purposeful teacher development. As a leader, I value trust, respect, and open communication, fostering a supportive environment where children, staff, and families can thrive.

Our centre integrates sustainability and Nature Discovery into daily learning, providing authentic outdoor experiences and environmental exploration to nurture curiosity, resilience, and environmental stewardship. In alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we intentionally embed sustainability education to cultivate global awareness and responsibility from a young age.

In 2017, our centre attained the SPARK Certification with Commendation, and we have successfully maintained our Commendation status to date. This achievement reflects our strong pedagogical practices and continued commitment to delivering holistic, high-quality early childhood education.
