Our Partnership with Parents

Communication with you is of paramount importance to us. We believe in working closely with parents to bring out the best in each child and create inspiring moments for all. We will keep you involved through many of our communication avenues including:

• Communication Book

  Each child has a communication book that promotes regular communication between the teachers and parents. Teachers will use the communication book to provide valuable ongoing correspondence about the children’s activities and development during the day. Parents can also pass on key information to the teachers through the communication book that goes to and from the centre each day with the child.

   

• Weekly Curriculum and Menu

  A structured class timetable and menu is clearly displayed at the centre to give parents an overview of what will be covered and served during the week. 

   

• Parent Education Workshops

  Twice a year, parents will be invited to attend a parent education workshop where an early childhood educator will share with parents parenting tips and curricular ideas to support children’s learning. 

   

• Field Trips and Celebrations

  As part of parental involvement at the centre, we invite you to participate in our field trips and festive celebrations.

   

• Parent-Teacher Conference

  Twice a year, your child’s teacher will assess your child and share with you information regarding your child’s progress and development.

   

• Parents’ Feedback

  Besides the above-mentioned activities, do feel free to call the centre anytime to make an appointment to meet the class teacher or Principal to provide feedback or discuss any concerns that you may have with regard to your child, or the centre.
