Will my child learn spelling and Hanyu Pinyin?

At My First Skool, children learn spelling in context and through games and interactive activities such as crossword puzzles and word scrabble.  

We teach children ”语音课程” ie 听准音、说准音。 This programme is taught when children are in K2.

Will my child be ready for Primary School?

The learning outcomes for children at My First Skool are aligned with the Kindergarten Curriculum Framework set by the Ministry of Education. 

For K2 children, we prepare them for primary school in the second half of the year. The curriculum provides a special programme that exposes children to what life in primary school will entail, and also helps them to be successful with the social and emotional changes that they might experience in the new school setting.

What is your curriculum about?

Our curriculum is a science-based curriculum that engages children to observe and discover the environment. Subjects such as mathematics, science, language, social studies, gross motor and art are taught.  We also provide a literacy programme to build and enhance literacy skills like listening, speaking, reading, writing and building children’s vocabulary in the English language.
