Childcare

My First Skool Childcare Programme
My First Skool empowers children to learn through the methodical PETAL© approach Playing, Exploring, Thinking, and Applying Learning. Subjects taught at our centres include mathematics, science, language, social studies, gross motor and art.
The Skool-Educare© Curriculum
The Skool-Educare© Curriculum is specially designed for children between 18 months and 3 years old. At the heart of the programme is the team’s love for toddlers and playgroup children, and their dedication to provide a safe and secure environment for children to explore their world and express themselves. The children learn sensory, motor and self-help skills through object-based activities to prepare them for pre-school and inspire them for life.
The Skool-Ready Curriculum©
This is specially designed for children from 4 to 6 years old. It is a science-based curriculum, filled with concrete and fun learning experiences to engage children to observe and discover the “extraordinariness” of their environment. The programme harnesses the strength of the relationship between the parent, child and teacher.
This programme is aligned with the Ministry of Education’s Pre-school Curriculum Framework, and:
- Ensures the children have the knowledge, literacy and mathematical skills for school.
- Cultivates them to be eager and persevering learners who delight in observing their environment, comparing, classifying, asking questions, making smart guesses and conclusions.
- Develops their moral character to be kind, helpful and cooperative.
- Prepares them for the future by building their ability to accept challenges and changes.
The Skool-aCe© Programme
The Skool-aCe© Programme aims to help children appreciate and systematically learn Chinese and excel in the language. The programme, for children from 4 to 6 years old, embodies many fun filled activities that engage them to learn through literature, songs, rhymes, poems and games. Through these activities, children build conversational Mandarin skills, recognise words, read and express themselves creatively in writing.
